Final Year Vet Student

Dear Sir/Madam I am a final year student, in the process of completing my rotations. I have been studying at the University of Veterinary Medicine in Budapest and am expected to graduate with a DVM in February 2025. 
 
 My background is diverse, as I am from Mauritius but I grew up in South Africa, and the international environment I have spent majority of the last decade in has helped me advance my adaptability, empathy, and communication skills which I believe are crucial to thrive in the veterinary field.
 I am particularly drawn to veterinary care in Europe as I am inspired by the high standards in veterinary medicine I have witnessed during my experiences so far. I spent four weeks with the RSPCA for wildlife in England and four weeks in a small animal clinic there as well. I also appreciate the progressive outlook on veterinary practices available here and I am very keen on the vast opportunities to further develop my technical skills in the field in a supportive environment. I am excited for any opportunity available to bring my background, skills, and passion for veterinary medicine to your team.

I am currently on my 11th Semester and completing all my placements/rotations.

I would like to focus on small animal medicine and exotics. I am keen on developing my surgical skills however I am most interested in general practice.
