Einleitung / Über mich

I have recently graduated from veterinary school and decided to pursue a career in small animal practice. I have a deep passion for sighthounds and cats, and I truly enjoy working with both patients and their owners. For me, the most important aspects of veterinary medicine are high-quality mentorship, modern evidence-based medicine, and a positive, supportive work environment where I can continue to learn and grow as a veterinarian.

Berufserfahrung / Ausbildung

In addition to my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, I also hold a qualification as a Veterinary Technician. After graduating as a veterinary technician, I worked for one year at the Small Animal Clinic of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Ljubljana. During this time, I gained experience in diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, surgery, instrument sterilization, and inpatient care. Throughout my veterinary studies, I continuously expanded my practical experience by completing placements in several small animal practices in Slovenia and Germany. I also worked for five years as a student veterinary technician at the Equine Clinic of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Ljubljana, where I assisted with the care and treatment of equine patients. In addition, I completed a three-week externship at an equine clinic in Germany. I am currently undertaking a two-month veterinary program in Cyprus, where I am working in an animal shelter and veterinary hospital. My main goal is to become confident and proficient in performing routine spay and neuter surgeries in dogs and cats while further developing my surgical skills.
