Independent veterinarian

Hi, my name is Daniela, and I have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I am studying veterinary medicine because I am passionate not only about animals but also about science and the "One Health" approach. I am from Quito, Ecuador, and have experience working on farms in Cotopaxi and Machachi. My dream is to apply my knowledge while also getting to know new countries and people. I love traveling, and I am very happy to be working with you.

Hello, my name is Daniela Maldonado. I am 23 years old and a graduate of the Universidad de las Américas. I am a hardworking, punctual person who is passionate about my work. I have extensive experience in various fields of veterinary medicine, including work with production animals and in clinical settings. I am a strong team player with excellent communication skills and an approachable nature. During my time as a student, I was an active member of the IVSA association here in Ecuador, serving on the board and organizing low-cost practical training sessions for fellow students. I would love to join your team and help achieve the goals you set for me.

I am fluent in English and highly adaptable, capable of quickly finding my bearings and fitting into new environments. I am sociable, a strong team player, and punctual. I have extensive experience across various fields of veterinary medicine, including work with production animals specifically horses, sheep, cattle, and pigs as well as small animal practice (dogs and cats) and the treatment of non-traditional species like guinea pigs and rabbits. As previously mentioned, my involvement with the IVSA association in Ecuador honed my skills in activity planning, team leadership, and above all teaching and learning from others. I am always eager to continue learning and to provide the best possible care for my patients. Additionally, I am capable of working with exotic species and participating in volunteer programs.

I am open to working in any role. Currently, I am particularly interested in physiotherapy for equines and small animals, as well as surgery and diagnostic imaging. However, I would be very happy in any position.
