**Job Title:** Claims Handler - Pet
**Type:** Full-Time
**Location:** Remote

**What we are looking for**

We are looking for talented individuals to join our expanding claims department. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly experienced and expert team, who are at the heart of our business. We love people who are passionate about the customer.

**Responsibilities**

- Manage of a portfolio of insurance claims from notification to closure
- Communicate with the customer and other third parties to gather all required information for the claim
- Support the customer effectively and with empathy throughout the claim experience
- Investigate claim details against the policy coverage and follow all claim processing guidelines
- Make accurate coverage decisions
- Provide a fast and easy claims experience, always meeting service level requirements
- Maintain a strong level of knowledge of your insurance products
- Support your team and the wider business to meet our customer and business needs

**Skills and Experience required**

- Previous veterinary experience
- Knowledge of the veterinary best practices in Germany
- Minimum C1 German language and B2 English language
- Previous experience in the insurance industry is preferred
- Ability to interpret and apply insurance policy wordings
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including excellent listening skills
- A passion for delivering 5-star customer service
- A team player, always willing to support colleagues for the benefit of the customer and business
- Strong attention to detail
- Desire to learn new products and skills - we are always learning!
