Veterinary surgeon

I graduated in 2018 at Lisbon University, in Portugal. With 4 years experience, I have been working mainly at Veterinary hospitals, and dedicated specially to surgery. This area has always been my main interest, and nowadays I am able to do most of the elective and emergency surgeries. I am ambitious and very a hard worker, that appreciates the team work and I am always looking to improve and learn more.

I started working at a small animal clinic in 2018, while doing night shifts at a veterinary hospital. Later, I started working full-time at that same hospital, where I learned a lot about surgery and internal medicine. Recently, I moved to one of the best hospitals in Lisbon, where I do consults and soft tissue surgery (dentistry included).

I am able to do first and second opinion consults, but mostly I like to spend my days doing surgery. I can do most of the elective surgeries and the most common emergency ones. I have also learned to place subcutaneous ureteral bypass in cats and started to practice endoscopy. It is on this areas, surgery and endoscopy, where I would like to focus.

Looking forward to learn more and evolve as a veterinary professional, and became one day a specialist in surgery, hoping to help others too. I don't speak german, but I am willing to learn it quickly.
